H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Morbu set up her own studio in Nantes in 2008, and distinguishes herself by her approach to ceramics.
By mastering and listening to the material, she overturns codes to create a new formal and plastic language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially interested in the relevance of the object in use, she develops a collection of ceramics produced in small batches using molds or the wheel.
Her creations are part of a contemporary approach based on elementary geometric shapes and a particular attention to detail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Today, she is exploring new avenues by creating one-off pieces based on a completely different, more experimental and empirical process.
Juggling the technical constraints and plastic qualities of clay, she develops a new vocabulary oscillating between delicate textures and rigorous lines.
The result: pieces with complex textured surfaces, a true work of goldsmith not unlike the world of haute couture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
